2. Why we use it
- To open and run your account and process transactions (contract).
- To verify identity and meet anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorist-financing and tax laws (legal obligation).
- To prevent fraud and keep the Services secure (legitimate interests).
- To send product news and rewards when you agree (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
3. Who we share it with
We share data only with the providers that run the Services, and with regulators or law enforcement when the law requires. We do not sell your personal data.
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Google (Sign in with Google) | Signing you in |
| Paystack | Card, mobile-money and bank payments |
| Formspree | Receiving the forms you send us (sign-up, contact, early access, chat replies) and order notifications |

| Identity-verification, banking and mobile-money partners | Verifying your identity and moving money, when those services are live in your country |
4. International transfers
Some providers process data outside your country. We use contracts and safeguards required by your local law for these transfers.
5. How long we keep it
We keep identity and transaction records for at least the period required by anti-money-laundering laws (usually 5 to 7 years after the account closes), and marketing data until you unsubscribe.
6. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Some data must be kept by law. Email support@bitmousecrypto.com; we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your national data-protection authority.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and staff training. No system is perfectly secure; we will tell you and the regulator about a breach where the law requires.
8. Children
The Services are not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
